Omni Calculator is a Polish tech company that helps to solve real-life problems by using science, numbers, and equations and thus to make decisions rationally. Our main product - the web application omnicalculator.com contains over 3000 custom-built calculators co-created by experts in various fields of science and is visited over 17 million times a month. We have a considerable track record in pitching stories about our calculators, with over 5000 linking domains and coverage from media outlets such as The New York Times, National Geographic, The Guardian, and The Washington Post.
Omni Calculator is looking for a native Spanish speaker who will ensure consistency across all Spanish translations and will be responsible for maintaining the desired translation quality.
As a Spanish Language Coordinator at Omni, you will be responsible for setting up quality assurance processes, defining the guidelines that other Spanish translators should follow across Omni, and reviewing the existing content to ensure it meets our quality and standards. A part of your job will be translating and proofreading our existing calculators for users from Spanish-speaking countries.
In the first months, you’ll also create a few calculators yourself to thoroughly understand the whole process – to be able to propose and create dedicated tools for Spanish-speaking local markets in the future. You will learn how to create calculators from the idea until the final product. You will choose your topic, research it, and suggest the most optimal tool that helps our users.
