Our main product, the web application omnicalculator.com, contains over 3700 custom-built calculators co-created by experts in various fields of science. It is visited over 20 million times a month. Role overview:
We are looking for a Product Designer (UI/UX) to join our Product Team. You will primarily be engaged in the design phase of our product lifecycle to provide intuitive, user-centric, easy-to-navigate features. This includes requirements gathering with Product Managers, problem research and validation, user understanding, solution design, and finally, working with engineering teams to align on development details.

Responsibilities:
Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
Design visually appealing and consistent user interfaces (UI).
Define user flows and interactions for intuitive navigation.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers.
Conduct user research to understand user needs and pain points.
Gather and incorporate feedback to iterate on designs.
Contribute to and maintain the product's design system.
Stay updated on design trends and best practices.
Requirements:
Due to GDPR, you must be located in the EU.
Experienced in Figma and understanding of design systems
Ability to work with Product and Engineering teams
Fundamentals of Responsive Design
UX research experience (surveys, user behaviour analysis tools, experiments)
Ability to develop solution designs based on clear traceability to requirements/needs/research.
Good communication skills for design concepts, presentation, and interaction with team members.
Employment terms:
Contract type of your choosing - B2B or Contract of Employment (available only for candidates based in Poland)
The first contract is signed for six months with the possibility of an extension based on performance.
Salary (monthly):
EURO: 2 350 - 3 520 net B2B
PLN (Poland-located employees): 10 000 - 15 000 net B2B or 8 300 - 12 400 gross CoE

Flexible working schedule, fully remote or hybrid, with the possibility of working from our office location in Poland: Mikołajska St. in Kraków

Recruitment process:
We will ask you to complete a recruitment task (analysis and solution design) - Please note that we do not pay for the task. Yet, we can assure you that at no point will any of the designs used in our product.
An introduction call with the recruiter during which you will learn more about the position (30-40 mins).
A 90-minute call with the Head of Product and a Senior Product Designer to learn about your experience and tech skills required for the position (90 minutes).
A 90-minute call with the Head of HR and COO to delve deeper into your background and assess cultural alignment (90 minutes).
Finally, we may ask you for references from your former supervisors.

How long do we process your data?
Most of our advertisements concern positions for which we are constantly recruiting. The selection of a given candidate does not close the recruitment process. In these cases, we process your personal data for the time necessary to select the best candidate, but no longer than 12 months from receiving your application.
